It's conference week and our Book Fair! I look forward to meeting with you to discuss how wonderful your child or children are :). It's a good time to discuss the goals we have for your child this year.

Tuesday, October 22 is PINK free dress.  Your child must wear pink.  At 6 PM is the Mother Daughter volleyball game!  That should be a fun game to come watch!

This Wednesday, October 23 is our trip to the Pumpkin Patch!!! Things to remember:  please be at school With your child's booster seat on time- 7:50 AM. (At the first bell).  This will give us time to take roll and get organized before morning prayer.  After prayer, we will organize the children, with their booster seats, into their groups/ cars and leave by 8:30.  Snack will be provided after we have participated in the organized activities and after they have picked their pumpkins.  We will then return to school when we are done.  Your child will be at school before the school day ends at 12:30.  If you are driving, you must have the required insurance and registration info turned in before Wednesday morning.  Remember this information must be turned in each year to be eligible to drive.  You must also have completed safe environment training and have had fingerprints done.  We will check with the office to confirm.  If you don't meet any of these requirements, you will NOT, be able to drive and/ or attend this trip.  These are the rules of the diocese.  Thank you.

October 14-October 18

We have made it through the first quarter ! My students know the rules and procedures of my classroom.  They understand the planners and that it must be signed 5 days a week.  Homework is getting done and being returned the next day when it is assigned.  I have already seen growth in many of them.  I am so proud of my students !!!

Report cards go home this Friday.  They must be signed and returned by Monday so we can discuss them at conferences.  Thank you.

Just a reminder:  we do not have show and tell.  Please do not let your child bring in things to show the class unless I have specifically assigned it.  I will have them write it in their planner if I'd like something brought in.  Thank you.

Next week is the Pumpkin Patch field trip. Wednesday , October 23 please send in your child's booster seat.  We will leave first thing in the morning.  Your child will not be able to go if a booster seat isn't brought in. It's the law!  Please mark their seat with their name please.  If you are driving, you Must have all the registration, insurance, and drivers license information into the office BY THIS WEDNESDAY!  If your info is not in and up -to -date for this new school year , you will not be able to drive for this trip.  It is very difficult to change car groups at the last minute because of this.  We appreciate your support in this matter. Thank you.  There will be more info on next week's blog.
